Description Mont d’or is an amazing seasonal, winter cream cheese. It’s produced within the Jura mountains ( France and Switzerland) between September and March. The cheese is circled with a “belt” made of spruce’s bark, witch gives it subtle notes of woody flavours . It can be eat raw on bread and also very popular cooked in the oven within its own wooden container (fondue style ). Baked Whole Vacherin Mont d’Or (with New Potatoes and Gherkins)
