Description Potentilla thurberi ‘Monarch’s Velvet’ Scarlet Cinquefoil. A clump-forming perennial which has bright green, palmate leaves. From summer to autumn, saucer-shaped, deep raspberry-red flowers with velvety blotches are borne. Grow in well-drained, moderately fertile soil in full sun.
