Description Pulmonaria ‘Blue Ensign’ Lungwort. A striking, vigorous perennial which has rather broad, very dark green, unspotted leaves. From March to May, clusters of bright blue flowers which fade to purple with age are borne. Grow in humus-rich, fertile, moist soil in full or partial shade. It will reach a height of 30cm and a spread of 40cm.
