Description Scabiosa columbaria ‘Blue Note’ A compact, tufted or mound-forming, herbaceous to semi-evergreen perennial with ovate to lance-shaped, pinnate or simple, dark grey-green leaves. From spring to the first frosts upright, wiry stems bear lavender-blue flower heads. Grow in moderately fertile, well-drained, neutral to slightly alkaline soil in full sun.
