1×6 Suehiro Sharpening Stone For Edge Pro, Hapstone Sharpener and TSProf

The 1×6 Suehiro Sharpening Stone come in a variety of grits for your sharpening needs. They are custom cut and mounted to a standard 1×6″ blank that fits the Jende JIGS, Edge Pro, Hapstone, TSProf guided sharpening systems, and with the Wicked Edge Uni Stone Holder Paddles. Suehiro stones are used with water only and work best when soaked in water for a minute or two or until any bubbles stop before use. Store in a dry place in between use. Suehiro 180  is an aggressive, extra coarse stone used for serious profiling, repairs, and initial sharpening. This is an all-around workhorse stone that removes metal quickly while leaving a finish that is easily cleaned up on subsequent grits in your progression. Suehiro 320 Cerax  is a coarse stone used for profiling, repairs and initial maintenance on your edges. This stone has a very interesting feel and feedback that is hard and solid, and acts as an excellent cleanup stone from coarser grits and prepares your edge for further refinement. This stone also fits very well into a natural stone progression. Suehiro 1K R is a traditional medium grit stone used for edge profiling, repairs, initial maintenance, and leaves a very respectable basic working edge. This stone is also used for cleaning up deeper factory scratches, making the transition from diamond plates and coarser stones easier and cleaner, and is a good foundation stone before progressing to finer grits. This stone also fits very well into preparing the edge for a natural stone progression. Suehiro 1K Cerax is a medium grit stone used for general profiling, repairs and initial maintenance on your edges. This stone has a very interesting feel and feedback that is hard and solid underneath a silky-smooth surface. It is truly an unsung hero of a stone that acts as an excellent cleanup stone from coarser grits and prepares your edge for further refinement. The beautiful matte finish left by this stone leaves the edge on the better side of basic working sharp. Suehiro 1500 DBO is a medium grit stone used for general profiling, repairs and initial maintenance on your edges. The Debado (DBO) series is splash and go with stones that are kiln fired, so it is also a very solid stone that wears slowly. This makes it an ideal stone for working sharp edges and a one stone solution for just about any knife or tool, or prepping the edge for further refinement and polishing. Suehiro 3K Yellow is a more traditional style finishing stone that polishes an already established edge to a mirror finish. The edges off this stone are still relatively thick and robust for strength, but the polish gives them a smooth slicing ability for use, as well as leaving the edge prepped for further polishing and stropping. Suehiro 5K Cerax is a fine grit stone used taking your edge to the polished level. The Cerax line of stones has a unique solid underlying stone with a silky smooth surface for bringing out the polish without dishing. The 5K leaves a slicing edge and preps the edge for further polishing and stropping.
