Description RAAF C-17A Globemaster III, A41-206, 36 Sqn, RAAF 100 markings Boeing C-17A Globemaster III (A41-206) 36 Squadron, Air Mobility Group, RAAF Special markings were applied to A41-206 in 2021 to celebrate the centenary of the foundation of the Royal Australian Air Force. This aircraft was the first of eight C-17A aircraft delivered to the RAAF, arriving at RAAF Base Fairbairn, on 4 December 2006. When the C-17A came into operational service it represented a leap in the RAAF’s airlift capability. It is operated by 36 Squadron, a transport unit with a long tradition.
