The 1×6 Arkansas stones family just got a little bigger. 1×6 Arkansas Stone is usually used with oil, but can also be used with water. 1″ x 6″ x 5mm in size and mounted to a steel blank, it is used with water or oil dripped onto the surface before use. Air dry after use if water is used. With oil, you can choose to clean or not between uses. The fit any Jende JIGS, Edge Pro, Hapstone, TSProf Sharpeners, and the Wicked Edge Uni Stone Holder Paddles. Arkansas Marcella Extra Coarse stone is an extra coarse grit stone mined from Marcella, Arkansas. Jonathan Coe sources several other Arkansas-based natural stones from the region, adding a greater selection to the classic lineup of Arkansas stones. The Marcella is used for initial sharpening and repairs. The soft, gritty stone releases and abrades with gusto and is ideal for initial sharpening and maintenance work.
