Jende Nanocloth Bench strop are on the cutting edge of stropping technology. Made from synthetic materials, the 3-dimensional honeycomb structure allows abrasive emulsions to fill up the columns, keeping more abrasive on the strop rather than on the knife while stropping. Each color matches our Jende Diamond Emulsions for easy reference without the need to constantly flip over the strop to see what grit it is. 8 Micron Jende Nanocloth Bench Strop (Lime) is designed to be loaded with our 8 micron poly diamond max emulsion, which is equivalent to about 2000 grit. The Nano cloth comes unloaded and is available in 4 sizes – 210x70mm and 2×6″ bench strops, and in 1×6″ and 1×4″ that fit most guided sharpening systems. The 210x70mm and 2×6″ Nanocloth Bench Strop have 3/4″ thick acrylic bases, and can be used on a flat surface and hand held stropping. The 1×6″ nanocloth strop is mounted to a standard 3mm blank and will fit any Jende JIGS, Hapstone, TSProf, Edge Pro stone holder, and with the Wicked Edge 1×6 Uni Stone Holder Paddles. The 1×4″ size fits the KME sharpener, and the Wicked Edge 1×4 Uni Stone Holder Paddles. Each color matches our Jende Diamond Emulsions for easy reference without the need to constantly flip over the strop to see what grit it is. Please note that these strops do not include our Poly diamond emulsions or Coticule emulsions or sprays. Nano-cloth Ultra is a synthetic stropping material that has no weave, so feedback is the same in all directions. Other weaved strops tend to have noticeable resistance change feedback variations, like a rug when vacuuming, which can make you second guess your stropping stroke. Honeycomb structure is very consistent. The shape allows the emulsions to fill up the honeycombs, keeping more abrasive on the strop and off your knife. The shape also fills up and beads on the surface, giving a snow-shoe effect with even scratches when stropping. Differential pressure can be used to give the strop more or less aggression by adding pressure for more aggression, and super light strokes to just tickle the edge for finish stropping. Color-coded Acrylic base allows you to instantly recognize the grit strop you desire to use, saving time and confusion. Laser etched to ensure long-lasting and clear identification marks. Works equally well with our Jende Poly Diamond Sprays, Emulsions, and Coticule Emulsions.
