Naturally fermented red; rich, floral and spicy with notes of stewed plum and red cherry. Made from grapes from two vineyards; one being the oldest Carignan vineyard in South Africa and the second a small plot planted in 2003. Each parcel is vinified separately. Wine from the older vineyard is aged for 9 months in 600L French oak barrel whereas the wine from the younger vines are 30% whole cluster fermented.
