1×4 Jende Hard Felt Strop is 5mm of hard pressed felt mounted to a 5mm thick acrylic blank. It fits the standard KME stone holder and the Wicked Edge Uni Stone Holder Paddles. Felt is made from compressed wool and used widely as a straight razor stropping medium. An unloaded felt strop can be used to clean the blade of residue, and when loaded with abrasives, the strong, yet soft felt properties will help maintain your delicate, razor sharp edges. We highly recommend using the Jende Poly Diamond Sprays as an abrasive. To load the felt strop with Jende Poly Diamond Spray, spritz the spray to cover the strop surface evenly. It will darken in color. When it is sufficiently covered, let it dry for several hours then use as normal. The 1×4 Jende Hard Felt Strop is a premium strop designed for guided sharpening systems like the KME and Jende JIGS.
